Do you participate in animal research and have a responsibility to submit protocols to Georgetown University’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)? This webinar will help you to fulfill requirements of Animal Welfare Act Regulations and the IACUC protocol. You will become a more efficient and effective database searcher for studies related to animal research.

Learner Objectives include:

  • Recognize the importance of literature search requirements;
  • Select appropriate databases for searching;
  • Identify the most appropriate search terms guided by the 3Rs;
  • Develop a complex and comprehensive search strategy utilizing keywords, controlled vocabulary, and Boolean operators.

All Georgetown students, faculty, and staff are welcome. Registration and participation require a georgetown.edu, gunet.georgetown.edu, or medstar.net email address. The Zoom information will be emailed following a successful registration.
